About Jack

Jack Newman started writing three years ago as a hobby. Having grown up with the stories of Tom Clancy, Wilbur Smith and Clive Cussler, Jack has a love for exciting adventure stories with a focus on real-world history and strong research. Disappointed with the available options, Jack decided to write his own stories.

 

His first novel, The Malacca Incident, is a blend of the detailed research mixed with a solid pace. The story will attract many of love a bit of espionage and real world military applications.  

 

Jack studied at the Australian National University in the Strategic Defence Studies Centre and has a master’s degree in Strategic Studies. He has a keen interest in international affairs and emerging technology. Jack is currently based out of Canberra, Australia.
